The following Chemical Case Studies are in development and will be added to this site: lead, mercury, polybromodiphynel ethers (PBDEs), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).  Each case study looks at a particular chemical or class of chemicals and answers the following questions:
 
  •  What is this chemical and how is it used?
  •  Do we know this chemical is in our bodies?  How does it get there?
  •  How does this chemical affect our health?
  •  How is the government regulating this chemical?
  •  Who is working to eliminate this chemical and how can I help?
